Am attempting to import CSV bank statement from Ulster Bank Ireland account. Looks like I will have to do ALOT of hacking the export file from UB to get it into the sample format… do you know if this is normal for UB customers needing to import into BulletHQ?

Hi. 
There isn’t a lot of hacking, you just click “other”, from the bank dropdown that’s how it should look. Once the headers are the same and the formats complete you’ll be able to import them.

    The problem is that the CSV file from UB is loaded with commas and quotes and has money out prefixed with a minus sign. Not just as simple as changing the headers as some of the data in the CSV file isnt in the right columns... I think the problem is with the UB export ... looks ancient as offers an option to export to Microsoft Money 97 ... will keep hacking the CSV file

    It's terrible solution, with the US we've live feeds all automated.
    You could post a job on fiverr to this guy I've used him he's great and quick. He could make a macro for you.
    I use him all the time, and you'll be doing imports all the time.

    Thanks Pete - its half done now ...just wondered if I doing something stupid ... but I know its a UB export issue.

    Cool. Deffo make a macro - very handy.
    The banks feeds have killed off a lot of features we wanted to bring out in Bullet :(
