Free Online Accounting Software For Mac Will It Work With ROS?

Q: Free Online Accounting Software For Mac Will It Work With ROS?

ROS on a Mac (without Java) Does anyone have a solution for using ROS on a Mac? As you know Apple disable Java as it is deemed not secure. Would anyone know if the Revenue have any plans to update ROS so that Mac users can log in without downloading Java? Thanks

Thanks Pete, I am guessing I still need to install Java however to log in via Safari and connect to BulletHQ.

Did you read this Anthony? We connect to ROS as an iframe, but you'll still need a digital cert. It's a crap service from that point of view, I mean who's going to hack into your computer and pay your taxes.... They've a hard enough time getting companies to pay tax...

For users of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion and OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, you must also enable the Java Applet Plug-in. To do this, open the Utilities folder in Finder (press shift + command + U). Open Java Preferences. In the General tab, place a check in the box labelled Enable applet plug-in and Web Start Applications. Finally close and reopen your browser. Some users may receive a security information pop up from the makers of Java software, highlighting that the application will run with unrestricted access which may put personal information at risk. The publisher of this application will be quoted in the warning as 'Office Of The Revenue Commissioners' and should always be trusted as the application is safe to run.
