Q: Hi – Don’t Have A Tax Number Yet So Can I Use Bullets Free Accounting Software?

I’m using 1234567a for the VAT number and trying the same for the tax number – I’m getting this message

Invalid Tax Number
This is the format of all RC numbers 7 digits followed by 1 or 2 letters.
What gives fellers?

Hi Gav,
It’s not a valid VAT Number. There is a system to the numbers and we run an algorithm to detect if it’s a right number or not, it’s the same with your PPS number, it’s based on your birthday etc. 
Why are  you putting in a fake number, I’ve Enda on the line he’s not happy!
