Hi Folks. The Sales vs Expenses graph on the Bullet Home page. The sales is presumably what was billed for in a given month as opposed to what was paid. Is there a way to find more detail/reporting on sales for a specific month.

...and presumably once the month is done the graph updates to reflect how well (or not so well) the previous month was

    Hi,
All the detailed management reports are in Accountant & Reporting Tool.
You'll find all the standard reports that accountants would use, you can change date ranges and drill down on details.
You can also export that information to run your own reports in Excel.
    Thanks Pete

thanks Pete. what should I be looking for in particular for sales in a month?

Profit & Loss would be the standard one. If you're curious about the categories and what they mean you can look them up on http://www.accountingcoach.com/
Remember these are reports for accountants, so they're technical.
We'll be working on making better reports during the summer. We've delayed this cause good reports are dependant on good data. Sadly people aren't great at putting data in so we don't want to send reports telling people to panic when they don't need to panic :)
Banks are opening their data soon, so we'll be able to automate the data entry. Therefore giving live and reliable data. We'll look to benchmark business against other businesses and offer ways to improve their business.

That's great thanks again. We just want something to look at monthly targets. For the most part I enter everything into Bullet except VAT. Our accountant does the VAT return, I supply tonnes of small invoices from parking to tolls, etc... I wouldn't have time to enter every single one in!

Cool. Whatever system works best for you and your accountant.
