Hi folks, when I copy an AIB Visa statement from IBB and paste into excel for upload it’s putting spaces at the start of every cell.which causes the upload to fail. Is there an easy work around this other than having to go into every cell individually and remove the space? Many thanks, Sonya

Hi S, try doing a find and replace for a space.
I’ll try it here.

I already tried that and it removes the spaces within the description text itself but not the first space.

Did you do a search on Google.

First thing that came up for me "Click in the first cell of a blank column on your spreadsheet. Type an equal sign to signal Excel that the cell will contain a formula. Type "TRIM(" – without quotation marks – and click on the location of the first cell in the column that contains data you want to clean up."

People have trouble with excel and copying from the web, but it's usually the formatting of the cell. Banks should be opening data in a year so this will be fixed.
