If you edit the employee, blank out the end date and save the employee, you’ll be able to start recording payslips for them again.

And then the up to date details will come from a Revenue file once I receive that right?

Did you terminate them in 2015?

    yes

are you adding them manual or adding them via the P2C file?

Normally I would add them via P2C file, but can do either

Best to add them via P2C, we're thinking of hiding the manual entry. Even with the best intention mistakes get made and aren't spotted till later, due to payrolls cumulative tax.
So edit his end date and then import the P2C file with his details on it. If there is a problem with tax it's the first thing Revenue will ask.
They're normally pretty quick at adding them.
    Hope that helps. Pete
