Is that the rate the bank gave you?
And you know you’re paying 4k with 2k?

    That's the rate on the bank website (and I can see how it turned out in ££ in the account). 4k and 2k is an error, will correct now

    Ok so it's the exchange rate that your bank gives you for that transaction on that date. Their the boss.
    It will be on your statement.

    Bullets job is to stop you entering the wrong information. That FX rate goes on to calculate if you made an FX gain or loss if you make a gain then you get taxed on it etc.
    It simply won't let you enter a rate that isn't right, ever. The rate will be on your statement.
