Sure just answer the following questions and we'll do it. It can mess up your accounts so we like to do it ourselves :) saves you lots of hassle later.
We can register you for VAT on Bullet. Please provide the following.
    You VAT number.
    2) The date the government registered you for VAT.
    3) Your company name.
    4) The email you use to manage that company in Bullet.
    Thanks
    Pete

  6. I didn't get the official reg letter from revenue yet but my vat status is active
  7. Peter Connor January 30, 2016
Good. I had a some fellas call around when I left.
Just the date of registration and company name now.
  8. I applied for a vat period to start on 1st Nov 2015, I'm registered under my full name
  9. Peter Connor January 30, 2016
Cool - was that date the date Revenue registered you for VAT of the date of registration?
  10. Sorry Peter, my mail box sucked me in... I registered on 18th Oct. so according to the information I found in Revenue Help the reg should be active in the first upcoming vat period, in this case 1st nov. Does it make any sense?
  11. I registered on cash rather than invoice basis
  12. Peter Connor January 30, 2016
Perfect. Always cash bases. No mater what anyone tells you.
Well set that up and let you know. From now on your bills and invoices will have a Vat drop down.
When your cat return is ready you see it in your todo.
You just download the vat file and upload it to ROS. That's it! Vat done, easy piesy.
  13. Thanks Peter, we'll see about easy-peasy... not sure about that...;)
    Have a good weekend
    karo
