Well, I setup a consulting company in my own name a couple of years ago and I've been keeping the money in the company for now, while I also have a half time job. I'd like to start paying myself out of the company this year, but I won't be giving up my other job

I'm not sure how to set this up in Bullet

Is your other business a limited company or sole trader?

I'm a PAYE worker 1/2 time and my consultancy is a limited company

The first thing is that you need to register yourself as an employee for your own limited company. You can ring up revenue to do this. After that, they will register you as an employee of your company, and give you tax details for that employment. You can download these details from ROS (it's a P2C file) and import it into Bullet. After that, you can start paying yourself, and Bullet will calculate the tax etc, and the P30 returns.

Note that none of this will interfere with your PAYE job - the tax credits that Revenue give you for your limited company will reflect the fact that you've got another job.

If you expect to earn more money in your limited company than your PAYE job, you might ask revenue to transfer your tax credits to that employment. If not, there's no need to ask them specially.
