    Hi Laura,
Someone just tried to sign in to your Google Account rexx@gmail.com from an app that doesn't meet modern security standards.

We strongly recommend that you use a secure app, like Gmail, to access your account. All apps made by Google meet these security standards. Using a less secure app, on the other hand, could leave your account vulnerable. Learn more.
Google stopped this sign-in attempt, but you should review your recently used devices:

    Hi Franco,
After you changed the port are the invoice sending now?
    Thanks Pete
  14. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
I didn't receive my copy so I suppose also the client didn't
  15. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
Hang on just let me have a look
  16. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
    tks
  17. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
When an invoice gets sent it should be instant.
  18. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
I know, she has another account and never had problem with it
  19. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
Franco, we send 1,000's of invoices a day. If they invoice engine goes down we hear about it, and very fast.
Here is me sending a test mail from my own account. But the test I ran on her account didn't work for me. Let me try something else.

    Pete
  20. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
Ok, it's not working on port 465 either.
  21. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
    Here are the Gmail settings
  22. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
    so what's wrong
  23. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
I've tried both 465 & 587 and neither work on this account.
I'm going to remove Laura's SMTP setting and revert back to Bullet's email. That means she'll be able to sent invoices, but they won't come from gmail id
  24. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
ok, even though this wasn't working before
  25. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
Ok, so it's working without the gmail settings. We'll have a look as to why you're getting that gmail error although it just might be standard gmail notification, like when you login from different computer.
Anyway it's working now so she can send invoices. I've also deleted our test invoices. I've also removed the big default header image on the invoices too.
We'll have a look at the gmail issues, but we've 1,000's of accounting using gmail and this is the only issue we're getting.
    Hope that helps.
  26. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
In the comments I see that the client received and opened the email.
  27. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
But this is to be verify because before some clients the comments were saying that they received and opened and the client wasn't receiving the invoice.
  28. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
I still dindn't receive my copy.
  29. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
    SORRY
  30. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
I did I was looking in the wrong account!!
  31. restorewellbeingd August 14, 2016
    Thank you very much
  32. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
    Sure no problem.
  33. Peter Connor August 14, 2016
    Hi Laura, Franco,
So Lou from test thinks she's found the issue.
If you want to go back to gmail - you'll need to turn on allowing "less secure apps" in her google settings. Google calls every app that isnt their own "less secure" so it is off by default.
That might be the issue, it's definitely on the Google side.
    Thanks Pete & Lou
