Hi Louise, 
Just click on the invoice in question and you’ll see at the bottom of the invoice an edit button. Just click that. If there is a payment made against that invoice you’ll need to delete the payment, it will be on the same page too. 
Let me know if that works for you.

    Hi Pete,

    If I am looking at my list of invoices - the one I need to change has been emailed already. There is no option that I can see to open it. The only thing that brings up the details is if I click on Record payment and that just lets me view details but not edit

    Click: Invoice, Overview then the invoice

    In my system the invoices contain no links in the overview screen and there is no edit button

    Hi, So you have your screen at a very high resolution that's forcing the page to crush. You can see here in this video I made.
    Here is how you can change the web text size in internet explorer.
