Hi there, looking great so far but We supply multiple supermarkets, Supervalu, Dunnes etc As I assume is totally standard, there are 2 main ways these corporate retailers and their suppliers will track deliveries and invoices; one is delivery date; the other is delivery docket number. Can you advise how I might be able to add these 2 fields? Without these, we couldn’t use Bullet as we wouldn’t get paid and so would need to use another utility. (I’ve some experience with Zoho which of course isn’t so Ireland friendly

Hi, if you click the advanced options in creating an invoice you’ll see you can add client notes, you can also just add the text into the PO number.
Does that help.

  1. Hi there, well, it's one way I guess but I'm not sure it's ideal ... A PO is not a delivery date nor is it a delivery docket number .. And the free text area isn't great for showing each of these 2 key fields ....
  2. Thanks for getting back a this hour of a Friday by the way Peter!

Cool. Let me investigate and get back to you.
  4. Don't mean to seem like "a moan" Peter but in a previous life I worked for a cloud software house so I kinda know what works and what doesn't and how actioning smart user requests is often the best way to optimise the product over time ... Thanks again. Bullet was already cool and getting an answer at this time on Friday makes me still more impressed .. Enjoy the weekend Peter! Conor

Your dead right Conor. I'm on a mobile device at the mo so can't check for you. Date night!
We try and make simple software that does complex things.
The workflows we use have all the accounting logic working in the background.
    We mainly service,
service based business, who don't need dockets etc. Similar we don't really service retail companies who need Tills, Stock etc.
But saying that we try and work with everyone.
I'll come back to you tomorrow promise.
  6. No worries Peter! Whenever .. Enjoy the date night !!! Thanks again. I'm on a workaround already ... :)

Ha. Very good. Let me know. I'm interested to hear. Just answer this call and it will hit me.
  8. So I'm using the Invoice # field to show "Invoice #XXXX (Delivered 9/10/15) etc.
  9. And that free text field to show the docket number .... Not ideal as some stores do everything from the date so that needs to be most obvious with others focusing most on docket # ... If it gets us paid, I'm happy enough :)
