Hi Rosa,
It’s not possible once an employee has been terminated (there’s a message and checkbox to encourage you to ensure all wages are marked as paid before terminating the employee). To get around this, you can “unterminate the employee” (edit the employee and set the end date to blank). Then mark the wages as paid, and then terminate the employee again. This should do what you are looking for.

No. Tax liability is recorded when you create the wage. Marking the wage as paid simply means that the company no longer owes the employee that money (and also records the money leaving the bank account) -
