Issue receipt for partial payment?

Issue receipt for partial payment? – Free Online Small Business Accounting Software Questions & Answers

A client of mine got a grant to pay some of the cost of the project. He is looking for a receipt for the partial payment so he can send it on the people who issued the grant. Is there any way for me to provide this using bullet?

Hi Keith, 
If I’ve got your right. 
Keiths’ Client part paid for Product X from Company X. He want’s to show the Grant board that he used the grant to pay it. 
Would he not need a receipt of payment from Company X and not his own accounting product, Bullet?
Am I missing something Keith.

    My client is paying me for a product. Part of the cost is being paid for by the grant board. I need to issue a receipt to my client for the partial payment.

    Hi Keith,

    Thanks for clarifying that.

    A 'Invoice marked as paid/part paid", or a "statement of accounts", should do the trick.

Hi Keith,
If you click on the clients name you’ll see Account Statement on the right. 
The payment of any item Bill/Inv will have the payment at the bottom.
