Just wondering is there any plans for Bullet to handle EU imports and exports sales and purchases vat

Bullet to handle EU imports and exports sales and purchases vat – Free Online Small Business Accounting Software Questions & Answers

I tried Bullets a few months ago and found it really nice to use and would like to use the system on a permenant basis

So i am wondering if there is any plans for the system to handle the vat on EU purchases and sales as it is something 90% of business i know would be using anyway because most business buy a product or service fromEurope , Northern Ireland or the UK at some point during the year

Also if anybody thats using bullet is posting EU purchases and sales that has a work around i would be very greatfull for some pointers

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the question we’ve being getting more and more of them. Just to give you some background – the product is designed for service based businesses – i.e. they don’t tend to hit this problem as much as product businesses. 
We had spent 3mts working on building an automated VAT RTD report but there wasn’t a great interest in it, from the point of new companies knowing they had to do it.
But, it’s great more and more product businesses are signing up looking for it.
So right at the moment you’d have to do it manually, export out your invoices and bill into excel and then work it out. 
We might look at encouraging someone to build an one off report from our API. 
So, in a nutshell you’ll have to do it manually – but we’re looking for solutions and should have one in the next couple of months.
