Sorry Pete, another stupid question for you. I’m trying to reconcile, but when I’m adding a bill it’s not appearing in the "What you’ve entered into Bullet" section.

Ok. I’ll have a look. What’s the Bill?

  1. 2nd November, Easons, for 10.98. It seemed like it's been creating multiple duplicate bills so I'm just now deleting the duplicates

So you've a bill on your bank account. It can't find that bill in Bullet. Are you saying the bill is in Bullet?
  3. Hm yes that was the problem. Deleted the duplicates and it's now ok.

Ok. Well that as a tough question I'm glad I could fix it for you. :)
  5. I clearly need to pay someone to do this for me. Can you recommend an accountant?
  6. Peter Connor December 19, 2015
We'll be bring out a new service in the NY like I was mentioning to you that will do all that kind of work for you.
But, we deal with a good accountant called Brendan Brady. He's x EY tax specialist but has moved into SMB accounting - and building product.
He's the face on our community site. I can intro you if you want?
    Pete
  7. Yes please!
  8. Peter Connor December 19, 2015
Cool - I'll do that now.

    Pete

    Pete
  10. Thanks
  11. Pete, what am I doing wrong here? https://youtu.be/c0Mq5yBbGPc

Ok, let me have a look.
  13. Peter Connor December 19, 2015
Cool - I saw that I'll have a look at your account now.
  14. Peter Connor December 19, 2015
I've just the rec on a clean account you can see here with both attempts it's presented the bill for me to reconcile.
I'm going to try the same rec on your account with a new bank account (I'll delete them after).
  15. OK thanks!
  16. Peter Connor December 19, 2015
So the same rec just worked on your account. I'm just uploading that video.
So can I try and reconcile that TO IRES PROPERTIES on the 2nd NOVEMBER
  17. Peter Connor December 19, 2015
Hi D, It's something to do with the duplicates you have in the account.
If you look at your Money Out view below you'll see TO IRES PROPERTIES and IRES Properties. One is due and is paid.

If you look "Imported From Current Account", that means the data has been lifted from your current account into a 'holding place', to be submitted with the current account.
  19. Peter Connor December 19, 2015
If you look here I can do a rec with other bills, example here is Easons (which I canceled). So it looks like you just need to delete/investigate that duplicate payment.

Hope that helps D. Sorry for the delay it took a bit of investigating (my system, your system, data etc).
  20. Hi Pete. I realised my mistake. I imported the CSV with negative values in the "money out" column. Again. So I have a feature request for you: reject CSV import when the values are negative, so that idiots like me can't break it! :)
