VAT Rounding Issues

Hi Guys,
My biggest bugbear with the system at the minute is the way in which the VAT .vt3 return files that you generate remove the cents from the figures yet the amount you record in bullet keeps the cents in. Should it not be one or the other for both?
Its leading to a scenario where I am downloading the vt3 file then manually adding the cents values into the document so they will match up with the expected value in bullet. The ROS system seems happy to accept me paying in cents without doing any rounding to zero.
If I don’t do this manual manipulation each time then there will be a discrepancy between what Bullet thinks I’ve paid versus what I’ve actually paid.

Hi,
If you’re a customer of Bullet just click the (?) in the dashboard for instant free support. If you’re not getting instant support window you need to turn on JavaScript in your browser.
There is no need to edit the VAT3 returns manually. Just upload the VAT3 return Bullet creates for, we comply with all Revenue compliance issues.
Thanks
Pete

  1. Hi yes,
I am a customer, just thought it might be useful for others to see the answer.

I'm sure you comply but that doesn't really solve the issue at hand.

Are you essentially saying that I will have to continue to manually update the vat3 files that you generate in order to match the figure being recorded in Bullet?
