So you’ve just registered for VAT but you’re Bullet account isn’t setup for VAT? A quick way to test this is to create an invoice when you’re creating it you’ll see a vat drop down on the line item, if you’re account isn’t registered for VAT you wont?

Ha, No that’s cool. The idea of Bullet is to only show you what you need in the Huuuuuuge number of functions in accounts.
Cool so we can do that for you tonight – we’ll migrate your account over.
Please provide the following.

  1. You VAT number.
  2. The date the government registered you for VAT.
  3. Your company name.
  4. The email you use to manage that company in Bullet.

Thanks Pete

That's done now David - you should see VAT dropdowns when creating Invoices and Bills, and you'll see you VAT returns being tracked.
  4. As i'm sure your an expert, you might help me out on one last thing...
If i'm quoting for a consultancy service, and I quote a price of say €750... Is it a given that vat is not included?
    Thanks for your help!
Have been bulleting for ages now!

Well there is an assumption when biz quotes that it includes tax. But if your anxious say that it excludes vat.
Estimates are just an invite to price. Invoices are a legal contract to price. Ooohhhh
  6. Peter,
    Very quick question.
Is it cool/acceptable for an agency or a photographer to say that payment is due upon issue of invoice.
I have some wise guy who wan't 60 days before payment
