Hi Guys , We now have an account that enables us to download our bank files for reconciliation.
I want to start using this functionality in Bullet but have manually done this in previous years. When I upload the bank file Bullet tries to match the Bank file with all unreconciled entries, there are tons of them as they include all 2013,14 and 15.
Is there an was that we can clear previous years entries so that they do not appear as unreconciled and we can start 2016 afresh?
    kind regards
    Adrian

    Hi,
As you can see here it tries to match the imported statement to Bullet. Therefore you're only trying to match the BANK to Bullet not the 100's of trans in Bullet to the bank.

True but in when it is reconciling it gives you an option list of potential match that includes all unreconciled entries , this means that you have to scroll down through them all to find the matching entry, not only does this take longer but the likelihood of reconciling to an incorrect entry is high, especially for repeat/frequent entires....coffee etc!

    Hi

Yep with 3 years of rec to do you're going to find that issue. Bullets trying to reconcile items, you've tones of items to reconcile. It doesn't know you want to start fresh from a date. You can use Ctrl F in your browser to find the specific item.
We'll be rebuilding the rec engine in the future, but having 3 years of items isn't a standard use case.
We could ask you to block out periods and we'll only display that item.
Thanks for letting us know Adrian.

    Pete
