Hi Pete, the email address itself is fine. I just want to change the default message that comes up when I send an account statement. I can manually change the text in each email but can't seem to find where I set the default so each message is the same and I just add the name?

Ah. I get you. So go to Invoice > Invoice Settings > and you'll see Email Templates.
We try to keep the number of links to a minimum. So that Email Settings could actually live in 3-4 separates places. That means 4 menus get longer, more to read and learn.
But, if you didn't find them maybe we need to review.
Thanks for the feedback H. Give my love to Grumpy

Found it! All happy now. Can I add the logo in there too?
  4. Peter Connor November 14, 2015
We've a bug with the logos that we've fixed so we're just waiting to schedule that into the new release.
We'll also be bringing in previews like the invoice invoice preview, so you'll be able to see what it actual looks like for the client.

Great, I'd like that. At the moment I have to send the email to myself first to check that it looks right! So the upgrade is very welcome indeed! Hope all going well at your end.

Thank you for your help, as always very quick!!!
  7. Peter Connor November 14, 2015
Yep, it's already in plan and designed up. Bullet is such a complex system it just takes a bit of time.
That new invoice preview was 4mts in the making, looks like 2 days work!
Thanks H. I'm on this earth to answer your Q's. Plus it's much better than boring help files

Ah, it keeps us all from being bored! We have the same with our system, but then I love the information we get out of both Bullet and our own system. And I am not even using it enough, I'd say!

Always good to have a bit of banter too!!!
  10. Peter Connor November 14, 2015
    Ha. I love the banter!
We'll be bring out reports next year, they'll be clever and super simple.
The banks will be opening up their data next year (hopefully) then we'll be able to give you live reports and pretty much automate your rec. That's holding back a lot of what we want to do.
Anyway - sure that's the fun.

Just checking, why an the default email message only be so short?
  12. hanneke Do November 14, 2015
In my hospitable ways, I am trying to be polite, but am limited in space to use?
  13. Peter Connor November 14, 2015
I have a feeling there is a tech reason for that. It's something about there are characters there that you don't see that are used to build the styling and something about a 3rd party block on longer mails. I'll find out for you.
Most people just leave it as default, so we've not given it any time. We can look at increasing the space though.
  14. hanneke Do November 14, 2015
You should know by now that we are not like most people and are not "general" and "default" - just like you!!!
  15. hanneke Do November 14, 2015
Just kidding. I'd like to have something half decent to send out when it comes to accounts, I'll work something out.
  16. Peter Connor November 14, 2015
Cool, we'll look to increase the text length and I'll get the answer for you

    Great, thanks.
