Cool. We keep company settings in the settings section (the cog). Invoice templates are so you can have different trading names. But, they’re actually the same business, vat number etc. 
We force people to make the error and contact us. Some people get confused between trading names (different companies) and limited entities (actually different businesses). 
So instead of boring them to death with a help file, we send them something lovely like this
