VAT Reporting: How To Generate a Report on VAT on Sales and VAT on Purchases

Hi Guys,

Could you tell me how I generate a report that will show me Vat on sales and Vat on purchases?

I know that a report is generated with this detail to complete the Vat file for ROS, but I cannot open this file.

When I try to export the info it only give me a total for the period. I can look at the purchases for a period and see the Vat value, but I am not sure how to generate this into a report or export into Excel?

Hi Lou,
That’s really easy to do. Simply click on Reports > then Account Transaction > select VAT from the Account drop down and click Update. At the bottom you’ll see a button to Export to Excel.
