Q: Feature Request: Recurring Billing Without Set Rate In Bullets Accounting Online Software?

Hey,
I’d be interested in creating recurring bills whose amounts change each month.
For example, Amazon Web Services charge us on the 3rd each month, and the categorisation of the expense is the same each month. The difference is that we don’t know until we’re billed how much we’re being billed for.
It would be nice to still have a “draft” bill waiting to be billed with the required information to save it as an actual bill.

    I see the way Xero does it is to get you to enter the amount as a placeholder, and be sure to go back and edit it when you're billed. Sounds like a solution.

    Hi Eoin, that's a good idea. Seeing as we've finished the multi currency stuff (6mts work) we're getting focused on the frontend of the product. We've been collecting all the feedback from customers, so I'll add this to our spreadsheet. With features it's always a balance between used a lot and not a lot. Xero is a great product, but it's really an old school accounts product built for the web. We're trying to automate accounts, so what we might do is focus the engine on just learning your business and syncing our bank accounts, so all the bills get created on they fly.
