Guys I am trying to deal with Payments imported from Ulster Bank and allocate these to Invoices already input – when I do it through I GOT PAID it creates new funds coming into the Bank. Further to this, the payments received are partially batched and do not exactly match invoices due. Any assistance on how to handle this would be most welcome.

Are you importing an .ost file?
So you can just associate multiple payments with a single invoice.

  1. Thanks for your reply.

So I created a number of invoices. Then imported a Ulster Bank Business Account as a .csv

Payments made by a Debtor are partial to the bank account.

I am trying to reconcile invoices to payments or payments to multiple invoices.

Ok. You won't be able to create multiple invoices to one payment only the other way around.
We're working on fixing that this summer as part of out U.S. Auto bank feed update.
If your getting bulk payments in from the one client you can just work from the import.
i.e. Import a statement and create everything from the Bullet suggest in the Rec engine.
Does that make sense? If it doesn't or I'm missing something take a video grab and send it to me with a sample of the csv and I'll show you the best way to do it.
