HI. I’m having trouble reconciling the bank account. When I enter a wage that also has expenses for that period Bullet records it as one amount. When we transfer pay though the bank there is one transaction for the pay and a separate one for the expenses. When I try to reconcile the bank account in bullet I can’t select the two bank transaction that equal the single transaction created by bullet. Is there a way to do this. Thanks

Hi there. Is the problem that you can’t see the 2 transactions, or that it won’t let you select both?

It wont let me select both. I need to select 2 bank transactions to reconcile with 1 bullet transaction.

Sorry, I mean. I cant see both. The bank transactions show up one at a time and are lower in value than the bullet transaction.

Have you recorded the 2 different payments against the wage in Bullet? Unless I'm missing the wage in question, the wages I've taken a look at in your account have all been recorded as paid using a single payment. In order to do a reconciliation, you need to have recorded the payments in Bullet in the same way you paid them in real life. If you delete the payment of a wage, you can then re-record 2 separate payments against the single wage to better reflect what actually happened. You'll then be able to see both transactions when doing the reconciliation
