Hi Peter – I miss the good old days when I could use the Bullet app to take pix of my receipts and then upload them directly!!! I’ve added Dropbox to my Bullet account and downloaded the app to my phone. But I cannot for the life of me shift the receipts to Bullet. I’ve gone on forums looking for an answer – no luck. I am SO FAR behind on saving my receipts! Any suggestions?

Ok so we've the android app out of beta we're just adding the bot to it now this will allow you to do things like /balance /paid to find out what invoices are paid, bank account balance etc.
The rest of the app is built and tested, so should be going live soon. The iPhone app will follow shortly we built a web app inside the phone app to speed up, update deliveries.

Sounds good, but in the meantime am I out of luck? My accountant is demanding info! Should I enter receipts by hand?

Did you read this on the community site.
Here is you you add dropbox. So the idea is you snap the photo's on your phone, they get saved to dropbox, and you upload them from dropbox you've connected to on the web app.

    Will try it again.

Cool. Let me know how you get on.

Progress has been made! I followed the info on the community site link and have uploaded pix of my receipts from Dropbox when adding an expense.
But I don't see the uploaded pix anywhere on Bullet. Shouldn't they somehow be attached to or visible with the new expenses I've just added?

Hi, Did you watch the animation, it clearly shows you how to add it. Here is is again http://g.recordit.co/qnNjCIzJ9N.gif (if it doesn't load just refresh your browser).

I am quite sure I added it - followed instructions precisely. Should there be a paperclip attached to the expenses with the drop box photos? Something to indicate there's an image with the expense? If there should be, then I'm doing something wrong and will start again.

    Let me check your account

    Hi,
I'd a look at your account, I'm not sure where you're going wrong. It works perfect for me - here is a recording. http://recordit.co/Gf2bH1YEvN

Am I correct that there should be a paperclip icon attached to expenses with Dropbox uploads?
  13. Peter Connor August 7, 2016
Did you look at the video I sent you?
  14. loominations23 August 7, 2016
Three times! I'm following instructions, am logged into Dropbox, no problem with 'Add From Dropbox'. The files show up in the field above 'Close' 'Add From Dropbox' 'Add From Google Drive.' But there is no sign of the upload on my Bullet account. Should there be a paperclip icon?
  15. Peter Connor August 7, 2016
Ah you're talking about when you've already uploaded it. To see the attachments you click the "attach file", again.
    See here. http://recordit.co/WeQuGq8LOs

OK, I get it! I was confused because I've already attached the file. I was expecting to see some indication (like the paperclip) that file is successfully attached - not to simply click on the 'Attach File' option again. So that's sorted! Thank you!

Well it's not well designed. I'll put in a request to have it displayed. Our fault not yours.
    Thanks for hanging in. Pete
