Hi Peter. I’m getting an error when I try to upload my p30 to ros that says ‘error usc amount is too small in one of the entries’. Any ideas or is this one for the accountants?

Hi Martin,

Did you create the employees using the P2C file?

  1. I did. I Lowered the wages back in october. Would I have needed a new p2c file after that point maybe?

I don't think so. The P2C just sets the employees up.
Did you manually edit or setup any employees?
  3. I didn't touch them since I put in the 2016 P2C, too afraid to do anything like that

Good. Be very afraid japanese_ogre.. Any manual edits and we don't support it 100% of the issues are caused by manual edits. Not sure why people try it seeing as the P2C file does everything!
Can you send me a screen grab of the ROS sites message. If it's a credit we don't produce a return for credits, but it's mega rare.
  5. Sorry that took so long I had a lunch meeting

It's very unusual that someone doesn't pay any USC.
I have a funny feeling that falls into the credit bracket with the software, if that's the case it will need to be manually submitted.
I'll check with the tech team but that might be the case.
  7. I'll tell you what happened. The two of us in the company are employees and directors. To qualify for LEO funding we needed to be paying ourselves 300 odd quid a week. Once we were finished with the LEO in october I brought us down to 100. We aren't actually paying that money to ourselves as it goes back as a directors loan. I was paying out 1500 odd a quarter and I'd prefer not to be as we're not actually getting any money into our pockets. So I ask my accountant and he said drop it to 100 in order that we keep paying PRSI etc.

Ah. Ok you'll need to manually submit your P30 then. We don't have that P3O creating setup in the system.
You or your accountant should be able to submit it. You just fill out the form and post it. Pretty simple.
    Hope that helps.
  9. Ok thanks Peter. Sorry to be a pain Enjoy the weekend

No, the system should do it. It just happens to rare that we priorities other updates.
You have a good weekend too
