  1. will the payments go directly to the irish tax system or would I need to use ROS and e-Registratin?
  2. e-Registration?
  3. i am using freeagent for my UK based company and it directly goes via the UK HMRC Gateway system
  4. with a username and password I supply - I wonder if this will work the same with the bullet solution in Ireland
  5. could you please advise?

No. You need to setup a ROS Account. Revenue doesn't have a API.
But we create all the files you need automatically. All you need to do is upload them. Only takes two seconds.
When you register yourself with ROS as an employee of your company. You'll get a P2C file, just upload that into Bullet and well setup you up correctly taxes etc.
    Tks P
  7. I understand
  8. thank you for this
  9. I presume if I am away from Ireland and do not charge PAYE on myself via ROS
  10. then there will be no cost or is there cost either way once you register someone even if for some months there is no paye?
  11. Peter Connor September 5, 2016
Well you might be away but Bullet is still calculating. Charges stop once you terminate the employee.
  12. I understand. Thank you.
  13. Are the records lost when you terminate the employee?
  14. or can you re-hire them?
  15. the company may be dormant in Ireland when I am in UK
  16. this is why I am asking
  17. and may stay dormant for 1-x years

No. We never delete anyone. You can rehire them. But you can't turn on/off employees.
Even if your employees aren't making any money. You still need to submit P30 returns, even if they're zero.

If you terminate the employee you'll need to submit forms to the government.
So it's far less hassle just to keep the employee live.
  20. understood :)
  21. thank you for this!
  22. no doupt there may be some more accounting related questions soon..
