Hi there I have a feeling my email account has been hacked and someone is changing the bank details on my invoices. I keep getting notifications to say I have looked at my invoice, which I haven’t.

HI Dara,

If you’re sending yourself a copy of the invoice and or open an old invoice you can get those read receipts, or if you’ve got a email reader that opens them.
If you think you’re account is hacked reset the password. If it’s a Google account they’re usually pretty quick at catching it.
WHen I’m testing bullet I sometimes get confused with the read receipts. They’re not an exact science.

  1. I have had 3 read receipts from my email address this morning without me doing anything. The same thing has happened to a work friend of mine. where they are hacking your email and changing details on invoices

Ok, then you've a bigger problem - they must be on your network. The best thing to do is kill your internet settings. Just plug out the router in the wall and contact a technical support company to call out to your offices.
They can only hack Bullet if they have your email and password. We use SSL encryption to secure the servers.
  3. It looks like they are downloading the pdf from my email address and changing the bank details.
  4. I am still yet to confirm this has happened. If I received 3 read receipts this morning without reading them myself, would that indicate that

Receipts indicates someone opened or clicked on those invoices. That's all.
  6. But it says that I read it this morning

Then it was read this morning.
If you think someone is in your system then you need to contact local it.
Like I mentioned people can accidentally click on them executing the read receipt action.
