Is it possible to run two accounts off the one login? I’ve got two businesses (although only one currently set up in Bullet HQ) but before I open another separate account, I wanted to check if it was possible not to have to log into two separate accounts? Thanks

Hi Siobhan,
The answer is yes. But, just answer one question for me. Is this a new limited company or a new trading name?
Do you understand what I’m asking?
Pete

    Hi Peter,
It's not a limited company but it will have a separate bank account to Catseye Coaching.
Not sure if that answers your question.
(it will have a different company number)
    Siobhan

One last Q. Are you a sole trader or limited company?

    Sole trader

Hi Siobhan. If both businesses are a sole trader then you don't need to setup a new account. If you add Advanced Invoicing app you can create multiple branded companies.

    Hi Peter,
I have the Enhanced Invoicing App, is this the one you meant?
    Thanks

Hi Peter, following on my from last query, if the 2nd company will be VAT registered and has a different company number, can this also be done without setting up a new account?
  7. Peter Connor January 9, 2016
Sorry Siobhan. Not sure how I missed that. As a sole trader there all the same company. Your the company. Your just trading as a diff name. You can create two bullet accounts if you want to keep the accounts separate but you'll have to merge the management reports at the end of the year. Does that make sense.

    Hi Peter
The 2nd company is a franchise so I would have to submit those accounts to the head office if asked, so unless there's a way I can pull a report with just the details relating to that business (ie: income and outgoings) along with the VAT report, I may have to open to separate accounts?
I'd rather keep things as simple as I can but also as cost effective as I can.

Hi S, They are the same company. You. If you want separate reports you'll need to create two accounts. You won't be able to split them like that in Bullet easily. It's not designed that way. So just create two accounts. Hope that helps.
