Peter – sometimes I use my credit card to pay business expenses and claim them back. In this case the invoice was paid via an Moneygram office in Dublin and the Euro equivalent was paid by my credit card. Hope that makes sense.

Ok.

So you created an invoice on 29th April for Keen Cotter for US$60. A dollar invoice. Correct?
You then went to pay that dollar invoice with a euro card. Correct?
or
You’ve tried to pay the invoice with a Euro credit card and they won’t let you change the currency?

I'll need the error so the screen you get when you click review button.
    Cool, talk then.

Peter, the 'error' is that the only data I can enter is in the dollar text box (i.e. the 60), the euro textbox is greyed out so I can't enter the euro amount that I paid towards this invoice.
    I hope that makes sense.

Hi, So I checked. You can only record a foreign currency bill as being paid by the company. Your trying to record that you paid for it personally, and then get reimburst the expenses. You need to record the bill in the euro amount that you personally paid for it.
