Rename Company: How do I rename/delete a company in the accounts software ?

I’ve setup my company details but they’re showing up as ACME Corporation.  How do I change the name to my company or get rid of ACME Corporation in the online accounts software?

Hi Will,
Thanks for getting in touch changing your company name and company details is very straight forward. 
1) Go to My Company
2) Click Edit at the bottom 
3) Make your changes and just click Save, and everything is changed.

    Even when I change the company name its still listed as ACME Corporation in the Top Nav area. In the example video above the name One Company still displays in the Top Nav after its changed to Three Company!

    Hi Will,

    It's a bug we spotted and is being fixed, just logout and in. Fix is being uploaded in tonight's launch.

    Now I've got two companies with the same name. How do I delete one of them?

    We need to delete companies so do the following please

    1) Rename the company you want to delete to 'DELETE THIS COMPANY'
    2) Send me the email address you used to create this company. You'll find this by clicking on the Cog in the top right and selecting 'Account API Details'.

    *Note: Once it's deleted it's completely gone from our database. If you need to export any information please just click My Company and Export Data.
