Hello, New to Bullet and already relieved by the ease of use. I’m filling out employee details and have come across and issue. I have her tax credits for this year but they arrived a month late. I didn’t emergency tax her for the first month as i didn’t think her tax credit cert would take so long. But… i have her P45 from previous employer, can i enter this info anywhere to calculate correct tax prior to receiving tax credit cert? Thanks in advance. Sarah

Hi Sarah,
Yes, when entering employee details, you’ll be asked “Was this person previously employed by someone else in 2016?” – answer “Yes’ and fill in the P45 details.  Also, when entering tax details, you can answer “No” to “Do you have the tax credit details for this person for 2016?” – they will then be taxed using emergency tax.  When you have the details, edit the tax details (or import the P2C file when it is available)
