Hi folks, me again. Any chance of getting the Invoice Description available on the excel export? I know it might get tricky with more than 1 line item but perhaps a separate cell for each line item or keep in one cell but comma separated? It would definitely help. Many thanks, Sonya

Hi S,
I’ll put that to the team. I think there will be any changes over christmas, but I’ll mention it to them.

  1. there will be any changes??? Do you mean... there will be many changes or there will not be any changes ???

Ha. Sonya you and my wife should become friends.
No changes. The dev's are having a holiday, a holiday. The cheek. :)
  3. Why, because she's witty, clever and stunningly beautiful... just like me?? In that case I agree :)

My god, she'd agree too. I'm not thinking friends I'm thinking BFF's.
I had to have an intervention yesterday, she was taking too many of my jokes and making them shit.
  5. Hi Peter, just checking if this will be included in the changes over Christmas?

I'll check with them I don't think so but let me check.

It's not planned for over Christmas Sonya, but giving more detail about the individual invoice lines in the export is something we're investigating. As you've said, the variable number of lines is the thing that makes it tricky to do in a consistent way.
  8. Ok, from our side it's very difficult to distinguish between different bills and invoices when you have many for the same company. For example we could have close to 20 separate invoices from 1 supplier in a month which we would enter as different line items on one Bill. But when it comes to reconciling their statements it's impossible without the line info on the export.
I don't suppose it's a report that you can run on the back end for "Special" people until it's live on the front end for everybody?

Hi S, writing the report for "special people" means we're writing it for everyone I'm afraid.
I'll talk to Johnny about it when he comes back to see if there is a work around. You're the only one asking for it.
If it's for salespeople can they not keep a track of it themselves. You might be able to do something with Import.io and scrap the info.
Anyway I'll see what's involved and get back to you.

    Tks
