Hi, I have a question regarding a negative PAYE and USC amount which Bullet is showing me. I paid myself and the payslip shows negative entries for PAYE and USC, and therefore the P30 return to ROS contains a negative value. But ROS is rejecting this *.p30 file (I also tried to fill the online form with the same result) because: ‘Error: The minimum value is 0’ how can I fix this? There is now a gap between my account and ROS

Hi. Did you import the P2C file, to create yourself as an employee?

  1. Thanks in advance... And let me know if you need any more info... Soren
  2. yes, I don't know if you can access my account, but I did pay myself many times this year already

Did you manually edit your tax details.
  4. it's just that I didn't have income in the last few month, and didn't pay for that time, and therefore the Bullet estimation of the tax credit per month got a bit messed up
  5. and no, I didn't manually edit the tax details since January
  6. and thanks for working on New Years Eve...

Cool. It does really matter when you paid yourself.
So can you confirm that you created your employee account using the P2C file.
And you haven't manually edited the tax?

    *doesn't
  9. that's correct, the entered tax credits are correct
  10. I paid myself 8 times this year already before now, last time in August, and now a final payment to clear the account a bit

It's cool. We can see your account. Can you upload your P2C file please.
  12. I try to find it in ROS
  13. Peter Connor February 12, 2017
Cool. We'll need to see it.
  14. ROS only lists my secretary, not myself...
  15. could there be an issue? How can I add myself there?
  16. but anyway, aren't the tax credits I entered for both of us correct?
  17. Peter Connor February 12, 2017
Hi. That means you've added yourself manually. We don't support manual setups as it's always human error not Bullets engine.
Best advice is to register yourself with ROS and contact your account they'll have to manually adjust your accounts and you'll need an accountant to do that.
    Thanks Pete.
  18. Bullet could have stated this somewhere so that I wouldn't have gotten into this situation...
I will add myself as an employee to ROS, but I have no idea how to adjust my accounts. Is this via manual Journey entries?

Your accountant will know. If you try to do it yourself you'll make the issue worse. It won't take an account long to fix it.
