    Ha.. Is there a way to assign 2 bank payments to 1 purchase item?

    We paid an amount, and then the second amount was the VAT payment. (Payment made for €700 & second payment for €161 VAT - Invoice line item in bullet is €861)

    So the same scenario as above.. We had an invoice we were due to pay for €861.

    The lad who was making the payment read the invioce wrong and sent only the €700

    then realized he made a mistake and sent the €161 as a second payment

    now the bank statement we've imported has 2 lines, but we have only one outgoing invoice to match it to when we reconcile

    Ok, but that's the same as the video. You can apply multiple payments to the one invoice. Are you getting an error message?

    It's on the reconciliation page where it shows the 'match this' statement line. Below that is the "What you've entered into bullet" - The 'match this' area has two statements (€700/€161), but the "what you've entered" only has €861. It doesnt allow me to reconcile both statement lines on one invoice item

    Ok, all sorted? You should be able to match 2 payments in the rec engine.

    Everything lines up now! Yeah, once i recorded it as two separate payments it all lined up. Thanks very much for taking the time to send that video! Awesome support!
