Hi there, I have recently switched form a Sole Trader to a Ltd company. How do I switch my account type ? My account seems to think I am a Sole Trader, perhaps I choose an option when I registered a few months back but not so sure. Thanks for the help.

Good – much more tax efficient.
So the accounts are completely different. But, that’s ok. You can just create a new account in Bullet and select Limited Company.
That’s all. You can’t migrate companies to Limited.
Does that make sense?

    Makes perfect sense, thanks.
Can I delete y old account so I am able to continue using my preferred email address?

    Hi Shane,
It's never good to delete accounts - you've to keep that data for 7 years. Here is a way to hack it though. Just add a backup email address to your sole trader account and then create a new account with your preferred address.
You can add the multi user app by going to Cog->Manage Users – add your email account as a new administrator for your company - then logout. An email invite to Bullet will be sent to your new email account. Click the link and login in with your new credentials.
You can go back to "Manage Users" and then disable your old email address's access to the company. You can then cancel your trial for multi users from the app store.
    Hope that helps

    Ya that makes sense.
While I am here, I have another question. I’m new to this company set up and I will be trading up another (registered) business name that is different from my company name. What is more appropriate to put in the ‘Company Name’ field on your app? My assumption is that for tax reasons it needs to be the official company name but just want to check.

    Cool

So your registered details (real name) should go in your settings. Then you can use different brandings in Invoices Settings.
