Hi there. Suzanne here. I just set up a company for my brother in law Ross Townsend. He will be the only employee for the moment. He is the proprietary director. He was a sole trader up to the 1 st June so yes he was employed but he doesn’t have a P45. How do I set him up as a director on payroll on a week1 month 1 basis please? Thank you Suzanne

No that's about tax liability. Always good to have cause if you try and get a gov contract or grant they'll want one.
