API error {"type":"UNAUTHORIZED","message":"Invalid authentication"}, have only 1 company

Hi guys, 
quick question: I get this error message when curl -u ….  [myusername]:[my API key]  https://accounts-app-intl.bullethq.com/api/v1/invoices
 
API error {“type”:”UNAUTHORIZED”,”message”:”Invalid authentication”}
 
I double checked and :
1. both my username and API key are correct.
2. I dont have a second company ( also tried to specify the company id but no luck
