Hi Peter, have you any plans to add a function to attach a Flag / Label / Tag to Bills that would be visible in the Money Out Overview screen (below). We enter all Bills on the system as they come in and then Simon (who is in a different location) sits down with the foreman and goes through them all to approve for payment. The only way we can do this is to leave a comment on each invoice that we can then read and know which are OK to pay. It would be really great if there could be a tick box or something that you could pick a colour star or flag or something that would be visible on the overview page. For example If he flags something in Green it’s OK to pay, Red means Hold, Orange means Query, Blue means Can’t open attachment. Every user could assign their own meanings to the colours. Would a function like that be doable? It would really make paying all the bills at the end of the month much quicker and easier for everybody. Txs a mill, Sonya

Hi Sonya. There is a plan to tag like a hashtag all items. So you can then run one reports on anything.
The hashtags allow for things like projects, travel, customers, jobs etc.
It will probably be next year at this stage.
If your sitting down with a client (foreman) why don’t you just view the Client Statements?

    Because they need to open each invoice to know what they are for and if they are ok to approve. So we in the office need to photo each individual invoice and upload the image so they can view it in the other location. Out of 4 invoices from the same supplier there might be an issue with 1 and the only way we in the office know that is to open each one individually. The client statement won't tell us that. Whatever you design we would really need to be able to view them in the Overview Page so you can sort by Flag the same as Date, Name, Paid.

    Ah. I think that's very specific issue to you guys.
    Have you looked at exporting the them to Google Sheets? That way you can access them online

    And colour code right notes. Then you'd only need to look up the issues.

    Perhaps, but I think all users would find this functionality useful and there's plenty of white space on this page to fit it in.
    I'll think through your suggestion about working from a download. The only problem is that you are then working offline and it's not as interactive or in real time.

    I don't get you? When you export the bills they are in CSV format? Is that what you're talking about?

    Yep, but you can just upload them to Google Sheets.
    Here I created this for you. I think this should work if I understand you right.

    Thanks the the movie Peter, I'm busy doing wages right now so I'll digest that over the weekend. Hopefully we can come up with a solution that will make everybody's lives easier. It might be better for us to have a conversion over the phone and go through it screen by screen in a couple of weeks when we have a lot of Sept bills entered.
